About Us

Chris Nesselroade is an Ohio native that spent his childhood in VA and came to Wilmington for college and never left. He graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and quickly pivoted to an entrepreneurial path. Chris spent most of his professional career procuring contracts, developing relationships, and managing business activities primarily for the Department of Defense but also included other federal government, university & hospitality construction projects. He’s been involved with several startup companies, ranging from Health Clubs to design/build companies, to a professional disinfection service business.

Chris has utilizes a team-first approach, which he learned while playing collegiate baseball at UNCW. He understands the collaborative value and benefits of building groups that work well together. Through his consulting company, he has also been able to use his management experience to help other small businesses. After Chris sold his primary business, he was looking for a more balanced lifestyle. When faced with the dilemma of securing a contractor to build a dock for his home he quickly realized there had to be a better solution than what was available. By chance, he learned that a neighbor had just developed a Patent Pending Removable Dock System and was looking to take it to market. From there, a partnership was born.

Chris is also very involved with the local Community. He served as the New Hanover County Chairperson for Weekend Meals on Wheels for 14 of 16 volunteer years. Chris also serves as an Executive Board Member for Outreach Cape Fear. The Outreach program focuses on working with disadvantaged children and their families, utilizing soccer as a focus.

Chris has been blessed to be married for 25 plus years to Tonya and together, they have two children, Samantha and Kaley.
